For many years Sweden offers the travaling sports-angler very good pike-fishing. Many have tried their luck here already and not without succes!
The area around Ekshärad is, what that's concerned, still un-exploid terrain.
Of course, the local people know for a long time that their many lakes and rivers are packed with pike, but the 'foreign fisherman' has not yet found his way to these parts of Värmland.
Klarälven Fishing Adventures offers you the opportunity to be one of the first to hunt these waters!
Not in large groups, but in small companies of approx 10 anglers we take you on a pike-adventure on and along rivers and lakes!
A part of the pike-anglers prefers to hunt from the shores for their fish and a vast number of lakes here in the area offer that opportunity.
But of course we will also take you with us on to the waters; not alone will we fish the big lakes, looking for meter-plus specimen, from a boat, but we will also paddle down the mighty Klarälven river in a canoe, hunting under the overhanging trees for that stocky and muscled river-pike. Wading from one of the many sandbanks we can reach un-fished spots; the places where these predators hide!
Guided by two experienced, english speaking guides we go fishing for 6 days in a row, looking for that perfect beat!
Are you a pike-angler that preferably fishes with a fly-rod?
Especially in spring and the beginning of summer you can eat your hart out in these parts of Sweden!
One can fish using a wide range of techniques and baits that go with it; static or active fishing with dead-baits; all kinds of lures and as said streamers on a fly-rod.
And all that in one of the last pieces of 'wilderness' left in Europe; far away from de crowd and stress of normal life and most of the time being the only one at the waterfront.
To go short it is a fishermans paradise!
Seperate from that we also offer a number of additional extra's; an elk- or beaver safari, a visit to the local fish-nursery or a wilderness walk together with a local guide. As a often welcome variation in our programm for the anglers and to make the trip also suitable for their fellow-travellers; so for wifes, girl-friends and other friends and family-members that do not want to spend the whole day at the waterfront holding a rod there is a lot to do as well
